(KANSAS CITY, Kan.) — The BPU Employees Charity Golf Corp. will host its
Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 at Dub’s
Dread Golf Course in Kansas City, Kansas. As part of its on-going commitment
to the community, BPU employees host this popular annual golf event which, to
date, has raised over $779,000 for children’s charities in Kansas City, Kansas
and Wyandotte County.
The 2024 tournament kicks off with registration and a continental breakfast at
7:00 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. The team entry fee is
$500.00, which includes greens fees, cart, a continental breakfast,
refreshments on the course, and an awards dinner with prizes after the
tournament.

There are also several opportunities for individuals or companies to contribute
or donate to this charity event, including corporate sponsorships at various
levels, in-kind donations of gift certificates, golf balls, tees, and other items

In July, the BPU Employee Charities Golf Corporation will be seeking
applications for consideration as a beneficiary to receive proceeds from this
year’s event.
As part of its ongoing commitment to the community, the BPU Employees
Charity Golf Corporation, a Kansas 501c3 not-for-profit organization, sponsors
and hosts an annual golf tournament. Since 1992, the annual event has raised
over $779,000 for area children’s charities and nonprofit organizations that
benefit children and youth in Kansas City Kansas and Wyandotte County.
