(KANSAS CITY, Kan.) — The 22nd Annual Eagle Days at Wyandotte County Lake
will be held, January 20 and 21. Click here for more information.
This free, family-friendly event will take place simultaneously at the Mr. & Mrs.
F.L. Schlagle Library and James P. Davis Hall located at Wyandotte County Lake
Park in Kansas City, Kansas. Both sites will be open from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on
Saturday, and Noon - 4:00 pm on Sunday.
The event will feature live birds of prey, including a bald eagle, as well as
other live bird presentations. There will also be crafts for children,
birdwatching on the lake, binocular rental, activity stations on the trail, and
more!
Eagle Days at Wyandotte County Lake are offered in partnership with Operation
Wildlife, the Mr. & Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Library; the Kansas City Board of Public
Utilities (BPU); the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library; Kansas City, Kansas
Public Schools; the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City,
Kansas; and Burroughs Audubon Society of Greater Kansas City.
