Your Guide to MyMeter

MyMeter is BPU’s new online customer portal designed to give you easy access to your account.

To register, visit mymeter.bpu.com or click the My Account button on BPU.com. Select “Register” and follow the prompts. You’ll need your BPU account number and the exact name as it appears on your bill. Residential customers will use their date of birth as their registration code, while commercial customers will use the phone number associated with their account. Click here for details.

If you were previously enrolled in scheduled credit card payments, your profile has already been migrated to the new MyMeter system. You do not need to go through the full registration process. However, you will need to reset your password by selecting “Forgot Password” on the login page to access your account. Click here for details.

Yes, you can pay your bill without an account. On the MyMeter login page, click the “Pay Bill” button. You will need your account number, found on the top of your BPU bill, and make sure to enter your name exactly as it appears on your bill. Click here for details.

After logging in, navigate to the top right of the toolbar and select “View/Pay Bill.” From this page, you can view your latest bill or pay it using the “Pay Bill” button. Click here for details.

MyMeter provides a usage chart on the dashboard that breaks down your monthly bill and daily usage rates, along with environmental factors that may impact your bill. Click here for details.

Navigate to the alerts page in your profile to set up notifications for upcoming bills, due date reminders, and usage thresholds. Click here for details.

Click on the person icon at the top right of the navigation bar to update your password, connect additional users, and view your access log. Click here for details.

Log in to your MyMeter account, click the View/Pay Bill button at the top of the screen, then select the Auto Pay button. From there, you can manage and update your auto-pay payment details. Click here for details.

• To Start Service, select “Schedule a New Customer Move-In” on the MyMeter login page or after logging in by clicking the profile icon, and selecting “Start Stop Transfer Service.” Be sure to read the instructions on the form, including how to find your address, and submit all required documentation.
• To Transfer Service, log in, click the profile icon, and select “Start Stop Transfer Service.” Be sure to read the instructions on the form, including how to find your address, and submit all required documentation.
• To Stop Service, follow the same steps but select “Stop Service.”

No, FlexPay customers must use the FlexPay portal at www.myusage.com instead of MyMeter. Through the FlexPay portal, you can make payments, monitor your usage, and manage your account.
