BPU Board to Review 2021 Proposed Budget

(KANSAS CITY, Kan.) — In order to reduce the risk of exposure for the safety of BPU customers and employees, the Kansas City Board of Public Utilities (BPU) has closed all facilities to the public until further notice.

The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities (BPU) Board of Directors will be reviewing the 2021 proposed budget during a workshop to be held on Friday, December 4th.

The workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The public may access this meeting through the telephone to listen in and if they have access to the Internet, they can also click on Zoom Meeting.

Friday’s workshop will consist of budget reviews for the Accounting & Finance/Purchasing & Supply and Administrative Division; Human Resources; General Management; Customer Service; Information Technology; Water; Electric Operations; Electric Supply; and Electric Production Divisions.

The final budget will be presented to the Board for their approval during the December 16th Board meeting.
