(KANSAS CITY, Ks)—The Board of Public Utilities (BPU) Employees Charity Golf Corporation has opened applications for consideration as a beneficiary to receive proceeds from this year’s annual tournament.
The application process is now open and will close on Monday, May 17th. The tournament committee is looking for applications from nonprofit organizations that benefit children and youth within Kansas City, Kansas/Wyandotte County. The purpose of this annual charity event is to benefit the youth of the community served by BPU.
Organizations wanting to obtain an application form to apply for proceeds can email CharityGolf.Corp@bpu.com to receive their application.
As part of its ongoing commitment to the community, the BPU Employees Charity Golf Corporation, a Kansas 501c3 not-for-profit organization, sponsors and hosts an annual golf tournament. Since 1992, the annual event has raised over $639,000 for area children’s charities.
This year’s tournament is slated for Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at Dub’s Dread.
