BPU TO HOLD INSTALLATION CEREMONY FOR NEWLY ELECTED BOARD MEMBERS

(KANSAS CITY, Ks.) — The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities (BPU) will conduct an installation ceremony for three recently elected Board members on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.

Two incumbent members, Mary Gonzales (At Large, Position #1) and Tom Groneman (2nd District) as well as newly elected Board member David B. Haley (At Large, Position #2) will take the oath of office at a 6:00 p.m. ceremony prior to the regular Board meeting.

The public is invited to join Board meetings, which are normally held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, at 6:00 p.m. Please call (913) 573-9024 to confirm meeting dates and times. Because of the special installation ceremony, there will not be a visitor’s section at the January 5th Board meeting.
