(KANSAS CITY, Kan.) — The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities (BPU) will conduct an installation ceremony for three recently elected Board members on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
One incumbent member, Rose Mulvany Henry (At Large, Position #3) as well as newly elected Board members Stevie A. Wakes Sr. (1st District) and Brett Parker (3rd District) will take the oath of office at a 6:00 p.m. ceremony prior to the regular Board meeting. Because of the special installation ceremony, there will not be a visitor’s section at the January 3rd Board meeting.
The BPU Board meets at the BPU Administration Building, 540 Minnesota Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas and typically meets the first and third Wednesday of each month. As always, the public is welcome to attend in person, or they may access meetings through the telephone to listen in, and if they have access to the Internet, they can also click on the Zoom Meeting link.
