The Life Support Program helps identify households where critical medical equipment, like oxygen concentrators, ventilators, or dialysis machines, requires reliable electricity.

While the program does not guarantee continuous service, it helps ensure your household can report and track outages quickly.

Plan ahead with confidence.
Because weather and unforeseen events can still cause interruptions, we encourage customers to plan ahead with a reliable backup power source or emergency plan.

Submit the completed paperwork.
Send the signed form back to BPU using the submission instructions printed on the form.
Our team will verify your information.
We’ll review the form and confirm eligibility, then add the Life Support listing to your account.
