Weatherization focuses on improving energy efficiency and reducing utility costs by upgrading key areas of your home.
These upgrades not only help reduce energy consumption but also make your home more comfortable and environmentally friendly.

Free Weatherization Kits
Changing seasons bring changes in temperatures that can put extra strain on your home’s energy system. To help our customers
stay comfortable and avoid unnecessary energy costs, BPU is now offering Weatherization Kits, free of charge for our customers.
Each Kit Includes:
- Window Insulation Shrink Kit
- FingerTip Rope Caulk
- Vinyl Foam
- Foam Sealant
- Door Draft Stopper

Getting your free Weatherization Kit is easy. Just click the button below and complete the form. After submitting the form, kits can be picked up at the location below during designated hours. Weatherization kits are available to BPU customers while supplies last. (Restriction: 1 kit per household)

ECKAN Weatherization Program
The ECKAN Weatherization Program offers free home weatherization services for qualifying households.
Eligibility:
- Income-based qualification, with priority for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families with children.
